This brochure has been drawn up by initiative of the “Alpi Cozie” association. Not a  guide, indeed, or at least not in the most common meaning of the word. We have no ambition of publishing a comprehensive guide about everything interesting you may find in the Maira valley . 
We should rather define this booklet as a collection of guidelines, a way of arousing  that kind of  curiosity that would make you want to come and discover the place.
This is the reason why we have decided to offer the reader a few historical pieces of news concerning the 14 towns in the Maira valley (Busca to Acceglio as well as mention the tourist services available in our territory.

Every single hamlet preserves a unique patrimony of civilization, mountain culture and wonderful natural environment. The Maira valley as it is today has been modeled by the daily life of our ancestors : come and discover what it has to offer…
